- In a civilized society the police must be respected. In every department, in every city, there are offices for civilians to file any complaints they desire against officers behaving unprofessionally. There is no excuse for violence against our fellow citizen police officers.

- This is the final straw for this liberal democrat. The President has betrayed his party, gone back on his campaign promises and showed about as much courage as a coward in combat. That's it. I'm through with him. He'll get no support from me in any way.

- What a weenie! He's been given so many passes, I can't keep track of them all. The job is too dangerous to tolerate any drug nonsense. Put him off the boat for a year and let him find out how life works when you have to earn a living doing something you don't love.

- There is quite a bit of ignorance here, and some sound offerings. I wrote speeches in the military for high ranking officials and general officers. It was not uncommon to find some of the very best leaders to be quite bad at spellling and grammar.
